Being able to speak without saying a word is a special blessing that few have been bestowed with. Jeremy Arey is one of the select vessels who was conceived with this very gift. Therefore, he has no reliance on words because his usage of sound says so much.
In early 2012; after years of shrouding himself in anonymity so he could hone his production skills, Jeremy Arey decided it was time to produce an entire project with a single artist. Looking beyond his native Californian sea shores; he reached out to London based emcee, Kinetik, with the idea of creating a collaborative body of work. Upon agreement from both individuals, Jeremy Arey spent months meticulously combing through thousands of dusty records in search of obscure musical jewels. The process was long, arduous and lonely but every sample, chop and break selected tells its own unique story. The result of this extensive task is a cohesive album that was fully produced and sequenced three separate times before any words were recorded. From delighted to despondent, from calm to contentious, from merry to mournful - these instrumentals collectively encapsulate all facets of the human experience whilst making the listener nod their head.
